Kamilah Tibbitts is the Founder and CEO of The Mela Group, a strategic advisory firm that transforms ideas into influence.

Kamilah works with clients navigating growth, transformation, market expansion, stakeholder complexity, and heightened visibility, helping them align strategy with execution and opportunity with outcomes.

Drawing on more than two decades of experience as an entrepreneur, strategist, and advisor, Kamilah brings a multidisciplinary perspective to challenges at the intersection of business, communications, reputation, partnerships, and growth.

Prior to founding The Mela Group, Kamilah built and led organizations and brands where she was responsible for business development, brand growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. Her experience building and growing a business informs her practical approach to advisory work and her understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing organizations today.

She has worked with executives, entrepreneurs, institutions, and emerging leaders to advance strategic priorities, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and navigate periods of growth and change.

Kamilah holds a Master of Science in Executive Strategic Communications from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Media Studies from The New School, and advanced training in negotiation through Harvard Business School's Negotiation Mastery program. Her work is grounded in the belief that influence is one of the most valuable assets an organization or individual can possess.
